21st Street - Renovations

Location
Columbus, OH

Fully restored Italianate home with 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. 159 North 21st Street was built in the early 1900s, and the structure itself has a lot of historic details. The design preserved these these details in the upgrades by restoring the stair trim, using the fireplaces as focal points, and exposing brickwork. Most recently inhabited as a two-unit building, the design rehabilitated it back to a single-family home. Opening up the doorways between the dining room and kitchen made for a large entertaining space. A new two-car garage,  and added a small patio to the back were added to the rear of the home. The kitchen is new and expanded with an island and walk-in pantry, quartz countertops and GE Profile series appliances, and a mudroom. The Master bedroom has a walk-in closet and custom tile work in the ensuite bath.
