Location
Lafayette, IN

Project Costs
Final: $259,000

Project Area
14,400 GSF

The Tippecanoe County Historical Association purchased the existing Masonic Lodge in the downtown historical district of Lafayette.  The renovation of the existing building was programmed to include permanent exhibits, a large event space room, commercial kitchen with dining room, office space, and secure fire protected storage space.  The entire building would need to be brought up to ADA standards for the public facility.  Renovations to both gang restrooms were gutted to add new finishes and ADA compliance and an new single ADA restroom was added.  The exterior entrance and plaza were replaced with new ADA slope walkway and entry door.  A new ADA emergency exit was added from the event space. On the interior a new ADA limited use lift was installed for wheelchair access to upper level.
